Hi. We use unisub coasters which are 90mm x 90mm x 3mm deep so 4 would only be 12mm and thus way under Royal Mail max. We have a pvc clear coaster box from a uk gift shop that is 100x100x18 so still under RM LL. If anyone knows where these could of been sourced then I am sure Colin and I would appreciate it. Olly

Ok some more joy with a definite price. The quantity they want is quite high so Colin if you're interested we could share costs?

Response from a supplier of pvc cartons
"We have an existing tool C0119 that produces a carton 90x19x90mm TEFS

    Using 200 micron clear PVC

    250 off at 44p each
    500 off at 31p each
    1000 off at 24p each
    All plus VAT
Lead time 12 to 15 working days.
Price includes delivery to one UK mainland address.
    "

If of interest let me know. Olly

Make sure that those sizes are the internal dimensions, and not that of the packaging itself, or the external dimension, or that there is enough give in the material/design, as otherwise a 90mm coaster is not going to fit in a 90mm box easly - also find out what variance/tolerance they have production wise, as they may see an 89mm x 87mm box as OK, where your coasters may not be so happy

One is in the post to me Colin so will let you know if it fits. Also, I've found the company that the gift shop uses for coasters and they kindly said they would sell blank boxes (100x100x18) to me/us but then said they would find out who their supplier is so we could buy direct. This is getting better by the minute. Olly

Just to say I have eventually tracked down the original packaging company that makes the coaster boxes for the printing company who supplies them to the wholesaler who supplies them to gift shops. Yes, 4 companies deep! Just getting a quote now for a box of size 95mm x 95mm x 18mm which should allow for 4/6 coasters.
