I'm looking for a printer to be able to print greetings cards - after a fair bit of research I shortlisted the Epson XP 1500<br/>
<br/>
Ive since realised that this model has been discontinued and superceded by one that is almost twice the price<br ...

Re: Help cutline missing in versaworks 5
The only other thing I can think to check is the line thickness
If memory serves it has to be hairline (might be wrong though)
Is the 0.05 thickness definitely the correct value for a CutContour line?

Re: Help cutline missing in versaworks 5
Somewhere in the back of my mind I'm remembering a problem caused by the magenta not being exactly the same in different versions ie the CMYK of the magenta was very slightly out
It doesn't really sound like this is the problem but could be worth checking

Re: MDP Mug Press set up help please!
Are you sure you have the mug placed correctly in the press?
If the handle comes up against a hard edge of the press it can pop the handles off - make sure your handles are sitting centrally in the gap once the press is closed

Re: Budget Laser Engravers
<t>Thanks for the reply....<br/>

It was an advert for the Xtool M1 which got me interested as it also had a blade attachment for cutting small scale vinyl/HTV<br/>

The more I looked at it the more I thought it was probably just the 'Cricut' version of a laser engraver so I started ...

Re: Budget Laser Engravers
Does anyone have any experience with entry level / hobbyist laser engravers?
I'm liking the look of the engraved tumblers so I'm presuming I would need a rotary attachment
I'd just like to hear any comments good or bad....
Ideal budget £500 ‐ £800

Re: Test Phase - GRAY!?!?
<t>I've used various different manufacturers inks in various different printers (non sublimation) over the years and grey is always problematic.<br/>

Even a 99% black becomes a composite color meaning it is mixed from CMYK - in an ideal world you want greys to be mixed with black and white ...

Re: Question about aligning print with correx
<t>It does take a bit of practice but can be done accurately<br/>
<br/>
Once you've aligned the vinyl on top of the substrate accurately use enough tape to secure it to the bench on one half then use light strokes when first applying, increasing pressure once down<br/>
