Re: Epson 1500W horizontal banding
I get horizontal banding with my 1500 when the room is too hot. My printer is in the same room as heat press and if the press has been on for long making the room very hot, the horizontal banding starts but then stops as soon as the room is cooler.

Re: So close... but the search for the perfect A3 transfer paper continues
<r>Just had some City Ink Express A3 paper delivered this morning. I wanted to try this paper to try get rid of my haze/water mark problem left on metal after pressing. I've literally spent weeks adjusting temp/time/pressure of press, metal up/down, adding fabrics etc.. you either get a bad transfer ...

Re: Stubborn paper marks left on metal
<r>@Andrew - Thanks, I may try just dropping the temp/time little bit at a time but more pressure.<br/>
<br/>
@webtrekker - Interesting. I've never actually covered the metal with anything before pressing. Just sheet of paper, then printed paper, then metal and thats it. I will give this a try with ...

Re: Stubborn paper marks left on metal
<r>Hi Guys,<br/>
<br/>
I was hoping someone may have come across this issue before me and knew of a way to get rid!<br/>
<br/>
My press settings seem to be good at 190/60 secs with light pressure and they still appear even if I lighten my pressure/heat/time to the point that the inks don't sublimate ...

Re: what printer is the best for sublimation
<t>You've purchased the the same printer bundle from me. He is a great seller and sends you a great guide for getting it all set up properly. The printer is great, really can't fault it. I'm having a custom profile set up so that my colours come out a bit better.<br/>

Re: Resin Doming/Printers
<t>Yes, it's very important to be able to control the temp and humidity of the room.<br/>
<br/>
Personally, I do my doming in a fairly large "walk-in" cupboard that I kitted out as my doming room lol fairly small space but I don't need much and makes it so much easier to get my humidity levels ...

Re: Resin Doming/Printers
I switched from Liquid Lens to Acuflow (see post above) and haven't looked back. It's great stuff, he offers different grades and has lots of shipping options.

Re: Question about direct UV light and fading
<t>I use the Sublinova ink also. I do print onto garments (well, webbing) and it's held up well so far... few years of hard outdoor use with constant washing in the machine and it's still fine. All of my sublimation work (apart from garments) have been dome coated so I've never really bothered much ...
