I had a Canon ix6850 and it easily coped with 300gsm card (including pre-creased card), and also printable magnetic sheet. Great printer, requiring the minimum of maintenance.

If it was the Windows 24H2 update, then yeah, don't install it. It's caused numerous issues for people. I'm sticking with 23H2 until all the bugs are sorted.
