View Full Version : Premium Membership Scheme - Auto Renew Issues

As you may or may not know, I have been having a few problems with the Auto Renew Premium Membership option. I've decided to discontinue this option in favour
of '12 months only' until I can rectify the issues. The system wasn't updating members usergroups to Premium and was also not taking the membership fee automatically.

I'm in the process of changing anyone that has selected auto renew over to the 12 month only option so you should receive an email over the next couple of weeks confirming this.

This means that you will need to manually pay for your membership on it's anniversary date to keep premium membership live. The system should send you a reminder a few days before membership ends (Can anyone confirm this has happened recently please?)

My apologies if this causes anyone any inconvenience and I will endeavour to sort out as soon as possible.

I've just this second joined - will my membership automatically change to Premium? Also, do we get a code to use at the various supplier for %discount?

Thanks, Melanie

P.S. I was in Lerwick today - I should have popped in to say Hello!

Hi Melanie. I've just changed yours over to '12 months only' so your usergroup has been updated and you can now see the official section with the codes in on the main forum page :-)

Haha, I'm just back home from Lerwick actually, great weather at the moment, feel free to leave that with us!

Hi Justin, I'm a Premium Member and about to buy some transfer paper from Yolo. What do I need to do at their site to prove I'm a member?
Thanks. Gil

Thanks Paul. I tried the Yolo - 10% off Code (removed) but I got the following error at the checkout:

"Please enter the correct redemption code. Codes are not case sensitive."

This happened after I hit the REDEEM button where it says "PayPal Gift Card, Certificate, Reward or other Discount" and after putting Code: (removed).

I tried 3 times but it kept on giving me the same error message. Can Justin or someone else confirm if this Code is correct

Thanks

Yes, Yolo updated that code on 1st March this year. Check that you are entering it exactly as I just tested it and worked OK :-)

Thanks Justin, Tried again 3 times and getting the same error.

There's one thing that may be different and that is: I got an e-mail invoice from Yolo to pay a certain quantity of £. The e-mail does have a link to PayPal to pay the invoice. Could this be the reason why it's not accepting the Code?

All I did was put a sample pack of paper in my basket and applied the code by copying and pasting, I'll double check.

UPDATE: I e-mailed Yolo and their reply was:

"Unfortunately the code can only be used when checking out on our website so we have sent a revised invoice with the 10% discount"

So, problem solved

Thanks for your help guys.
