When you say you have tried with many profiles..... did you try with the correct one for your sublimation ink or just various different ones that you could find?. Was it Sawgrass software?

I tried sawgrass, custom made, and ant i find.

I have made my own but still the same problem.
I print the test chart with 225 patches and gray on 4 sheet, press it on white poliester and read with SpyderStudio SR, but always same thing.

Now in find the most accurate when printig with original settings (Color controls, EPSON Vivid)

I don't know the set-up of the inks on this printer but would suggest that a Sawgrass profile is the way to go. What ink are you using?

Not sure, there are no name.
But i get other colors OK.

I'm printig it direct from corel X4.

I make spot colors in corel from 10% to 100% black. the result was brown instead of grey.

Print out with ICM off and color corection in color management!

Now i swich off all color corection in corel and set color control epson vivid in printer setting and is almost fine.

Note when i print out in Black&White mode is fine!

You don't know the make of ink? Each make generally requires a purpose built profile. Is it a second hand piece of kit you just bought?

No, i bought from company who distribute inks in Slowenia.

I was hoping that i could make profile.

I notice that in print preview see already brawn instead of grey!

Hi, its not much better.

You can check the pictures.
Prinitg from PS is MacOS is little different from Windows 7 and Corel X4.

In PS is better result with color Correction off in Corel Is better with Epson Vivid color correction.

One more think!

If you check the colum J you can see it is grey not brown any more.

It look like i should mak now a profile for result!
And use it in PS.
To print Vector from corel first raterize and then print from PS??

If black and white printing gives you black, but using full colour changes the blacks to brown then it suggests that either (1) there is a problem with the profile or (2) one of the colours, possibly magenta, is too strong in the ink formulation.

I think you're looking at (1) with Paul at present, but if magenta is too strong then this could account for a brown rather than black reproduction. If reducing the magenta colour (within printer settings) by say 20% (trial and error here) doesn't solve the problem then it might be something to do with a non-branded ink formulation causing the problem. The potential problem I see with changing the magenta saturation is that whilst it may help the black, you may then suffer with other colours that need magenta...
