Whats a good current digitizing software pack to output in PES format.

Embird Studio (64)/Wlicom EmbroideryStudio e3 something like that.

Is there a reason you want to do it yourself?
It is MUCH more cost efficient of my time to send it away, get is back in approx 12 hours for only a few dollars.

Bit of a sadist I suppose :-)

I've not really found a good place at a good price to get it done at, you could recommend somewhere good ?

You're kidding  Why are you shipping it out if you have laid out a few K's on Wilcom

as logobear said, it is not worth the time or effort trying to do it yourself. the software is great for either editing or do simple logos etc. by the time you have digitized your own logo you could have done another order.

Ahhh I see where you are coming from, I tried Embird and Wilcom but found they took hours first time round on a single colour large 10cm logo with some corporate strange font text. Then I found another package that did the same job in 20 seconds and cost a lot less. Needles to say back went the other two.

AfterMo - what is the 20 second package? - is it full automated? , - I see you can get instant (auto compouter) online for £1.99 a go now

Thanks ArferMo. fifty quid, - I can see how it could be useful, even if it does produce poor embroidery files, - when/how often do you use it? - do the files need much cleaning up?

Free 30 day fully functioning test drive unlike the two named over priced packages above that are either not fully functional or require a down payment.

Only done a few so far and they were all fine straight off without edit, could have been better I suppose but customers were very happy.

Same file with Embird Studio (64) took almost an hour to do against 20 seconds with SewArt and then I found that the save in Embird Studio (64) was disabled bet you can't guess what my thoughts were towards Embird Studio (64) and as for Wilcom well there price is in cuckoo land.
