I'm not yet convinced about templates for mousemats. The problem is one of lining up the mousemat to be parallel with the straight edge of the frame. If you're even half a millimetre out, it looks nasty.

When you're just putting a photo over the entire area, no one's going to notice if you're slightly out of alignment - but they do if you use a frame.

I can give it a go. I have some old mousemats I can try on. (It won't be immediately, though, as I've had several orders in that need my attention at the moment - and that's before I do the other sample Christmas mugs.)

I think, though, that it'll be the same as when I did some mousemats with text on. Trying to keep it level with the edge of the mousemat wasn't as easy as I would have liked. It's different for items that you can measure up and stick tap on the back of - like mugs, metal items, etc - but mousemats are a pain to keep still when moving them about with the paper attached. Maybe others have a better way of attaching the paper to the mousemat such that it won't move before pressing?

Could these templates have a small grey line in each corner as a reference point? That way when you lay the mousemat on top you have some means of ensuring the image is equal distance from each of these points and then you'll know it is 'square on'. The grey line would be outside the print area and wouldn't impact on the image being transferred. Might help?
