Hello,

Me and some friends are starting an "Mini-Enterprise" project for school. And we would like to print magic mugs using the sublimation method. For that we first need a printer, and since our budget isn't very big (very max 820€/708GBP) I was thinking of an Epson S21 (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Epson-S21-General-Purpose-Individual/dp/B0029U2FNE) with Sub Ink or an Sagem Photo Easy 110 (http://www.pcpro.co.uk/reviews/printers/92159/sagem-photo-easy-110). Are any of theese good?
Second, we need a mug press, but I don't know which one to take. Could you reccomend me one that isn't too expensive?
And third I have some problems understanding how the magic mugs work. Do I just have to buy a bulk of these (http://szmicrotec.en.made-in-china.com/product/nbzQamNyaHko/China-Color-Change-Mug.html) for example, and just print on them as I would do with normal mugs?

Thanks in advance for your help.

hi oskar. first non of those printed are suported i am afraid. s21 would work but + would not risk. if this project only and you want print mugs only then you may invest in old, good epson D88. is discontinued model but plenty on ebay. also you need sublimation ink. this most costly in subli process. but again... if this is only short period prject then refillable carts should do the job. mug press - DF1 will doo for you. you can have it for about 150 quid. also is yoour lucky day as i saw black color change mugs on ebay for I think 30 quid per box '36 mugs'. but all that is cuting corners big time....

To keep costs low I would suggest the Ricoh GXe3300 as this will be the cheapest, new, printer with sublimation inks. How many black magic "wow" mugs are you looking to get in your budget? For example, we could supply new Ricoh printer with sublimation inks, a new DF1 mug press and cases of black WOW mugs for less than your budget (just need to see how many mugs you need) and also where in the world these are going. If you want me to pm a cost to you then can do, just let me know how many mugs and what part of the world! Can supply papers and tape as well. Sure we can help you out if needed.

WOW :o Thanks a lot Martin. I will PM you tomorrow after I've discussed this with my friends.
And we live in Belgium so the package has to come to Brussels.
