With Brexit and the government seeking out new trading partners worldwide. Do you think there is anything to gain by joining this organisation?

https://www.madeingb.org/

Or is it mainly for big players who are looking to export globally?

Only had a very quick look and not sure of the benefits. It is easy to create your own Made in Britain logo if anyone wants to jump on the bandwagon. As you indicated, don't think it does much for smaller players largely selling in UK when you can do similar if you please.

You also need to pay £100 for membership per year (companies turnover under £1 million), I know I can use the £100 better elewhere!!

I think the logo looks naff for starters. They'll not be getting £100 off me.

You can see how optimistic they are. Even the arrow in their logo is pointing downwards.

True, that I could do my own union jack and extra bold font etc, but I'm thinking that being part of the Directory might be the main benefit. Are retailers likely to browse that looking for suppliers or would they just stick to the trade exhibitions? The artists I print for all have a major preference for non Chinese blanks.

Designed in Britain with a huge Jack flag is on the side of every Gala tent product, it is all made in China, and it really p*sses me off when companies do that, yet about 5 miles from me is a factory that print and design Xmas cards, the do not exploit the Britishness of their product as the card it is printed on is produced in Italy, yet the people that work there, design and print, and pack and send all in the UK, their cards get sent all round the world, and I am certain that people would buy more if they knew that they were supporting jobs in the UK with their choice.

Same as with CE marking. The Chinese just say it stands for 'Chinese Export!'

The logo can be pointed in any direction depending on your chosen design.

We joined the scheme when it was originally set up, and there was no joining fee - so, we get to use the old logo but not the new one, they said we'd still be in the directory in some way but I haven't bothered checking!
