Hi Guys

Got a question that you might be able to answer...

I have an idea that requires me to print on the PRINT GLOW media. Fortunately the item I want to print is only black, but ideally I want to make the item as durable as possible, If I coated the material with a UV coating would the UV still work as I am assuming that the coating blocks out the UV that I presume is required to make it glow.

Hopefully that makes sense and someone who actually listened at school might be able to help :-)

I'll maybe bluff my way through this answer. Photoluminescent material will absorb the UV frequencies, store them, then release them gradually. Which frequency in UV light is it absorbing and which frequency will the UV spray block? I think you need some technical graphs of the frequencies of each product. Or spray some UV coating on something already made...reflective cycling armband? My mate could answer this though.

There are other coatings which could be used to protect the print.
