Hi All,

I'm looking to sublimate (whole) ready made tee shirts in some trial designs. Does anybody know suppliers who will sell you full t-shirt sized print outs of your own designs on sublimation paper/ ink apart from Contrado (link below)?

https://www.contrado.co.uk/

Also, does anybody know which companies hire large format heat presses (1m x1m press) surface?

Can't help you with the heat press hire.
But we could do the transfer prints - currently we have a printed width of 111cm wide, but in the next few weeks will be 160cm width.
Our presses are rotary though, so not as good for putting ready made garments through, otherwise would have quoted you for pressing too
If you send me a PM, I can give you our contact details.

Thanks Pisquee, but I'm looking to specifically print ready made tee shirts.

Yes, we can supply the printed transfers, that's not problem.
We could give the printing a go - not something we've tried recently, but happy to give it a go

Personally I don't think you'll get a good all over print if the garment has already been made. We tried a long while ago for a customer and the biggest issues are under the sleeves and getting a print into the folds etc. Better done before the garment is constructed on the actual panels but I guess that's not an option.

I 100% agree the quality is not as nice, but the cost, lead-time and flexibility in sublimating whole ready-made garments outweighs the quality on an item as throwaway as a tee, the high-street is full of them and I don't honestly think many customers know/ appreciate the difference.

Thanks, I'll send you a message Pisquee

Happy to quote for full cut and sew too, as we have in-house sewing the cost may be OK to not have to use pre made blanks.
