Hi All
There is one of these printers for sale at ukscrappers.co.uk which is a craft forum, the person says it's in good condition and from smoke free home, she is only looking for £30 for it, collection only from south Liverpool, so if you want it register and PM her, sounds a bargain if you are able to pick it up

Hi Paul

You will have to go on the forum you can then send a visitor message her and give her your address details and arrange payment that is if she'll let you arrange a courier, you'll find the printer in the marketplace section of the forum

I have two Epson 1290's that I want to get rid of. One was bought off eBay for spares which I never used and the other started playing up and leaving small dots around anything in black. There is the CISS still attached with one of the printers.
I moved to using a Ricoh printer so these are no longer required.
I have no idea what they are worth. Not much I would guess but if anyone wants them, please PM me with an offer.

I have a 1290S here that I don't use much because I also have two 1400s that I don't use much. I still keep them operating, though. Had too many occasions in the past when the main printer hiccups right in the middle of an urgent print run.

Can't have too many backup printers!

No, funny that but I don't mean a fiver!

Just before Christmas I had to fork out for a new 1400 because my other two A3 printers were playing up (the older 1400 throwing out black dots and yellow glow, and the 1290S not wanting to clear its nozzles).

Since Christmas, both the old 1400 and the 1290S are working fine again (the 1400 because I replaced the CISS with refillables, and the 1290S because I replaced the Artanium refillables with fresh ink in new cartridges).

So now I have three A3 printers, all working fine. And I have every intention of being sure I don't run into a similar situation like last month whereby I had nothing to print with. I don't care if I now have enough printers here to sink a battleship - I'd rather have too many backups than too few!:biggrin:
