View Full Version : Facebook advertising
Any one used this for advertising?
Can this be cancelled at any time?
Hellooo.... was preparing to do this yesterday as it seemed simple enough although there was one confusion. My personal facebook account is registered with my business email am I right in thinking that people can also view my personal stuff if I advertise my business. I tried to register a new account but it will not allow it from the same email.
cant help with this one. I did not even knew that you can advertise there :)
Yep, you can add your daily budeget as google ads and it will tell you your possoble hits/views or target market by your keywords used
great! got to try that :)
Hi Paul, just thought I would update you, I didn't actually do the facebook advertising as anyone could view my personal facebook from it. I tried to re register with another account but I can't from the same email address apparently so i'll have to change my personbal email account and then e do this one. What a pain !

I tried Facebook advertising for a few weeks and it didn't pay (for me). I have got a Facebook fan page which customers can access from my website though. Costs nothing and is a nice way for customers to keep in touch.
That sounds interesting Lorcan. Just for curiosity you don't have your web add on here?
Sorry, just noticed it on another thread but can't find it, can you point me in the right direction. Perhaps it's a bit early in the morn for me

My website is www.T-Wiz.co.uk (http://www.T-Wiz.co.uk)
Oh sorry I went to the bike one. Thanks!
God it is early and perhaps I should go back to bed as I may be dangerous at work today!
Can I ask...so you don't have a personal account then?

Yes, separate email addresses.
Ok thanks thats what I thought, but how can you make a facebook fan page?
I think it's interesting but perhaps more suitable for you as you have it linked more to a hobby where i'm just selling the tees, maybe I could link it to the Conish theme?

Log out of Facebook then click on "Create a Page for a celebrity, band or business."
Having chatted recently with someone from business link she suggested that I put my site on a facebook page, i've discussed this recently but didn't do it as there was a problem with using my email add.
I now have another email but facebook says it isn't valid. Could it be a problem with the .com?
By the way it was also suggested that I use Twitter, which I do and IMHO it's a load of rubbish!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyone find it useful?
Can't get to grips with twitter, though I know of a few hardened ebayers that use it when promoting new items and always get sales from it
No I have few following and got rid of loads, they just bombarded me constantly with ads all day long, I don't have the patience to keep poppin an add on to keep myself bumped up to the top, i'll probably delete it.
