Anyone printing these? Any feedback on suppliers and prices/quality would be appreciated :-)

I use glass coasters and placemats but I don't print them, you put a photo inside. I actually prefer them too . Much easier, faster cost about £1.15 (probably ,ore I don't know) and I like the look. The speed of producing one is the most important thing to me

I have pressed metal coasters but have not tried glass, I have never seen the ones you have AJLA did you buy them a long time ago, they sound very interesting?

Glass coasters/placemats are nice - they have a white backing onto which you print (not mirrored) - but, at the end of the day, they're pretty expensive for something that looks like you glued a sticker to the back of a piece of glass.

These are very nice and a relatively new product, the photo goes inside, the base of the coaster is a black foam and there is a black border around the glass front. If I can figure it out I will try and post an image

They can be bought direct from the manufacturer in wales, i'll get the details for you or from a supplier to the photo type industry called Swains. It really is a lovely range of products

My customer uses these but is changing to dye-sub (through me!) This display looks great.....but it's doing us out of sublimation business!

Justin :-)

I can understand where you are coming from, mostly these are used in the photo industry, I have some customers who prefer the subli items and some who prefer these.

These are instant and just as profitable with less work for me.

The subli item range is far more extensive too.
Don't worry.... i'm a long way from you so I don't expect i'll be doing you out of any business ;)

Lol. You're certainly a way from me! I do like these, I've seen similar before but nowhere near as good. My client is a photograph/camera type shop so they were ideal but fingers crossed they prefer the subli range.

I certainly have customers who would choose to buy subli, others just want to buy and go home to do it themselves

I absolutly love doing the ceramic/glass products and find they come out fantastic. Two of our best sellers are our 30cm glass clock and the large glass chopping board.

Where do you buy the glass stock from Julie-anne? Hoping to start doing glass placemats, never really got on with the Unisub ones because of the warping.
