Just started a decent sized order, that wiill have ongoing orders. I'm 5 hoodies into it and my heat press has died....

I was saving for a new cutter now this happens....

At least I still have enough time to replace it and fulfill the order.

What make ofpress is it? May be able to get it fixed, won't help you straight away but if you do get another press you could then sell this on. Otherwise, could someone help you out with orders until it's fixed maybe?

I think it's a lovecut not 100% sure as I got it from second hand from ebay.

I was planning to change it eventually at some point anyway so I guess I'll just bite the bullet, I have a plenty of time to get a new press and finish the order. I think it's maybe the thermostat, it turns on, the timer works when its closed but it doesn't get hot but both fuses are ok.

No big deal I guess, just a pain as I had been up till late getting everything ready & cut for a pressing session.

Can you post a picture of the heat press? Spares may be available...

Got another heat press and a cutter today, found someone in Southampton selling the both which was just what I was after. Second hand again but great quality and condition equipment.

and a Graphtec CE5000-60.

So I've been using the heat press for about an hour now and I have to say its 10% better than the one I had really chuffed with it. Not setup the cutter yet but have seen it all working etc

Overall it's been a good day :)

Martin do BMS do heat press repairs? would be good to get the other fixed as a spare in case anything happens like this again. I'll get a couple of pics up as soon
