can anyone help when printing ink is bleeding or coming out dull the printer is the epson p50

Will need a bit more information here to help. What inks, what printing media (paper or something else?)

hi new to all this the printer is epson p50. ink is sublimasion ink. paper is sublimasion when printing the print comes out with to much ink and runny.have cleen the heads when i have don this prints great and then it gos runny any help would be great

As the P50 isn't a supported sublimation printer then can I assume you're using a third party sublimation ink or is it a Sawgrass sublimation ink?

if is to much ink on paper then just please tell me you dont hold your ciss above your printer??? also you say is dull. is it dull on paper or after you press it on blank?

Where did you buy the setup from? Have you been back in touch with them for support yet?

ha no did not hold ciss above printer ?? o yes i am blonde ha ha yes is dull on paper not go to printing on mugs only just got com set up and trying to set printer up new to sublimastion

:D you need to press it first to see the effect. print on paper is always dull :D

hi kids got me the printer and the ink and mug and othere bit thay got was from dsf so i now it is not the ink or the mugs think the prob is with the printer got the ciss from the internet

You didn't get the P50 from BMS though did you? Inks, mugs etc. weren't bought from DSF, we're the discussion forum :-) We need you to clarify where everything was bought from to advice further.

got intuch with them but thay would not help or exchang printer becouse i had put the ciss on it and thay sead it was not sold with it .he was not very nice ???

Putting a third party CIS onto a new printer will invalidate the warranty. Where did you buy the printer?

NO I DID NOT GET THE PRINTER FROM BMS but got inks mugs and some other little bit and bobs from there. the printer and the ciss come from the internet sorry for any miss under standing

ok. so go and press one of your test prints on the mug andtell us whats wrong.

Have you tried ptting the original (non sublimation) cart's back in and get the printer working that way?

It is but the ink is coming out runny! Do you know what make of ink this is? Have yo been given a profile?

I had runny ink on texprint paper when use best photo and matt paper in options.

yes i am a proper blonde kids got the printer from bolton down south think it was called (pissy printers)ha donot now if iam alod to print ther name on here the ciss was got from der i say it but ebay proper blond moment but have chequed it and it is not leeking ;)

yes got profile i did try and put original (non sublimation) cart's back in and got the printer working . then put the cis back in did sume test prints thay come out dull after about 6 test prints it started to run again think red that is running sorry to do your heads in told you i was blond :)

i dont know why your ink is runing but i know that when your print looks dull its actualy not :) after you press your print it will be nice, sharp and lovely colored.
