I'd be interested to know how many serious buyers there are for a five mug heat presses. I can get my hands on the below.
Would anyone be interested, and if so, how much would you be willing to pay? Colour may vary.

I would have to finalise price in the morning. I just wanted to see if there was any interest in them. I want to get one, and since I hadn't seen many of the 5 press machines about, thought I would share it here.

this web site says
Mug diameter range:7.5cm—9cm
but mug is about 19cm - 22cm

so it simply mean it can not do full wrap prints.
useless for me but it maybe good stuff for someone who making little company logos etc... good time saver.

I saw one on ebay for about £800. so it means you can get 8 single mug press and few boxes of mugs for this price :)

Hi Paul,
I think you are confusing diameter with circumference.

Robert
29-12-2009, 10:23 PM
Paul,
I would be getting and passing them on for a lot less than £800

Justin

I have their price list here $180 but dont' forget to double the price for taxes, shipping etc.!

Not the easiest company to deal with from my limited experience.

Paul

Hi guys, really sorry, not going to be able to get the price until the New Year. However, I can tell you that the price will be less than £300. Not sure if they will be as competitive as £225, but certainly close.
If anyone is interested, then please PM me, and I will make sure I will get back to you when I know more.

Hi,

On these 5 mug presses, if one press goes, do the other four continue working or does the whole machine come to a stop. I know this has been discussed somewhere before, so apologies. I am interested in this.

Each press can be used individually. If one stops working, you would still be able to use the others - unless of course that the malfunction is related to the main power supply!

It would take me about a month to get these, and would only be able to get them if sufficient people were interested - around 10 :).

The cost per unit would be around the £275 + VAT mark.

Have you used one of these yet ? what are the results?
i can see all the obvious advantages but also a few disadvantages ie 1 machine 1 problem 5 mug presses down. also the build quality looks a little cheap though pictures can be deceiving to be honest ive just bought a twin header and keeping on top of thats enough for me lol

Hi Rob, If I've read the post right your importing them, adding a bit ontop for yourself then selling them with vat on - so basically your the supplier.

If I bought one from you where would I stand if it didn't work out of the box?

Cheers John

Hia.

Im interested in this as well. But i mirror Johns thoughts. If the unit goes wrong, who do we turn to?

I appreciate you bringing this into the fold and it looks like a great unit for mass production...just them niggly little thoughts thats all.

Cheers
dave.

Andrew

I would probably be interestd as well. Supply of additional elements would be handy as they are a consumable part really.

I need to know if Robert can provide a VAT invoice. Unless he's VAT registered he can't bill for VAT.

Off subject, John (Stitch-up), do you do embroidery in South Wales? I have occasionally used Cardiff Embroidery but don't seem to be many options about.

Hi Andrew

Yes, we're home based in Bridgend and do embroidery mainly.

I too used to use Cardiff Embroidery for my own stuff :) We don't use them now

not that many embroiderers about in South Wales M4 corridor that do a decent job. Good to know there is one more ;)

Take a look HERE (http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v111/datasafe/Embroidery/?start=all) at some of the patterns we've created.

We started producing for the low volume car market and then moved into other areas.

If you have something in mind, send me the logo and I'll create the pattern FOC :)

Cheers

All looks good. We have done our best not to do much clothing recently due to the hastle of embroidery etc. but will keep you in mind now that I know there is someone fairly close by.

Cheers,

Andrew

I'm looking into ordering one of these to have a play with, possibly with a twin head machine as well. Anyone any more thoughts? I've been pricing them up along with heat blankets and digital controller boxes so I could keep a few spares in! ;)

Andrew

Might possibly be interested. Where it says max temp 180-200 that worries me a bit. I would assume they mean operating temp.

Justin

Inc. shipping they seem to be qouting around £290, heating elements are $15 each as are digital controllers.

Also been quoted for a dual head press at approx. £110+shipping.

Is that for the same 5 head as shown in the link earlier in this thread? Price seems good and not the end of the world if it turns out to be crud.

Hi Justin, are these imported and if so what other costs would be involved. Also what is the delivery leadtime.
Cheers John

Justin

Hi John,

Yes, imported from China. Tax and VAt may be payable. Tax, I'm told is 2.2%. 5-15 days delivery.

I always factor in a third of the total cost when importing goods ;)

Justin

I'm leaning towards a dual head press, can't really justify the outlay to 'test' the 5 head....but it is tempting ;)
