Hi folks, i've been away from here for what seems like an age!! We are currently flat out 6/7 day weeks (not complaining at the mo!) and i just have not had the time. I would love to go through these threads on printers but don't have the time at present, come winter, as always i will.

Now to put it blunt, I have to replace my epson printer today or tomorrow morn for a job, i'm sure many of you have been following the Ricoh feedback, is it a thumbs up ????

I only need a4 by the way. My Epson has run out of ink and i dont see the point of buying new artanium inks.

Really cheeky I know as i should be doing the investigating mysef but I am hoping fingers crossed someone has been looking into the feedback.
Thanks

Mandy

Ricoh for me. A bit costlier to run but headache free.

Thanks Mark, how long have you had yours now?

To be honest I wouldn't mind paying a bit more for a hassle free life

Ricoh every time. When our 1400 finally crapped out, we got one in straight away. You won't be sorry!

I can't remember when I got it. Best part of a year ago, maybe more.

Never a single problem. With my Epson I never knew if I was in for a session of head cleans whenever I used it.

Thanks folks, now am i understanding right that I only get a power driver with the printer when ordering a full set of inks as well?
Unfortunately I didn't want to do this straight away so then i'd be stuck:frown:

Powerdriver should be available from sawgrass FOC.

This might seem like a silly question, but how are you going to print without a full set of inks?

Ahhha never thought of that  No Kaz u get a full set when you buy the printer, so I didn't want to get another at the same time.

With all new Ricoh printers the PowerDriver software is included automatically. Should be common, sensible practice, from all sublimation suppliers.
