theres Been a lot of new commers asking the same questions so i thought id put this little lesson together for anyone who wants it please feel free to add to or correct as you see fit.
paper truepix
ink .... artanium
Printer .... epson 1400
software ....photo shop
double headed press
temp head 1 170
temphead 2 190 this just shows how temps can vary from machine to machine or even head to head

first we need to print our image with the correct settings

http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj26/purpledragon_2008/art2.jpg
its difficult to see from the image but the ICM should be ticked paper type should be matt and colour adjustment should be ticked for off.

http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj26/purpledragon_2008/art3.jpg

in this tab mirror should be ticked dont worry it wont look like its been mirrored as you work in the art package but it will when it prints out also remember your prints look awful when printed onto paper the colours are wrong and washed out dont panic this corrects itself during the heat
process. Also by now you should have selected your artanium profile in this case 1400 profile.

Now print your page and trim the paper so it can be wraped around your mug as in the above image

your mug is now ready for the mug press

http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj26/purpledragon_2008/IMGP0211.jpg

your settings will depend on your machines model and a few other factors trial and error is the best way but start around the 200 degrees mark then fine tune as you try some test prints trhe same applies for times my timer is set at 2.5 minutes but 3 4 or even 5 mins are not unheard of .

http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj26/purpledragon_2008/IMGP0210.jpg

now clamp your mugs into the machine the clamp should be firm but not too firm
http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj26/purpledragon_2008/IMGP0212.jpg
once the timer goes off release the clamp and remove the mug .
Some people dunk the mug in tepid water to cool them and some disagree with this method personally its never given me any problems but with colour change mugs i find peeling the paper off immeadiatly without dunking stops the paper sticking.

I hope this is of use to you out there just starting off good luck

Don't use tepid water use warm, dont forget that you are heating the mug to 190 degrees C ish, so technically even boiling water would have a cooling effect.
