Squadron Prints have been selling aviation mugs for a while now, but we just started trialling Beer Steins:

Any design is possible, as long as we have done the aircraft artwork.

Just sent out a heap of these to the boys in Blue(Groundcrew) from the Reds:

Hope you are all well!

Not sure what you mean by this comment - they are already pressed - they are samples!

Squadron prints, you are a credit to us all. I love you squadron prints logo on each one, nice idea, and i love the presentation with it rotating

we do these as well, and i must say customers are happy to pay the extra. and yes the ones from BMS press in the standard press, but the ones from Listawood (which are far more stein shapped) dont - so be careful with what you order

I actually prefer the previous beer steins that BMS used to sell in the old days. Since those days, steins have been getting ever more bland. These ones with the square handles don't appeal to me in the way that the original ornate ones did.

very nice JOnathan!
Like many other items, though, you just get people wound up and interested in them and they vanish from suppliers. Makes it very difficult to get enthusiastic about new products.

The one pictured above was replaced for a short while by this one:

And now that's been replaced by the one with the square handle shown by the OP. How soon before that one's replaced by a different design again?

This is what I mean in that they are steadily becoming more bland. The early ones were very impressive because they had patterned handles and the gold rim (although the gold rim wasn't particularly straight very often!). The smaller ones were not as ornate but not bad because of the shaped handle. Now we have the square handled ones which aren't at all ornate. (I think this is some conspiracy to turn steins into El Grande mugs... :joke::wink:)

Well we are new to this and although the ones with the gold rim are nice we never had the opportunity - I quite like the ones we use as they are quite modern - we will see how it goes but with our artwork the gold might detract! Out of interest was the gold rim dishwasher safe?
Thank you for your kind comments Mrs Maggot!

The gold rim steins were not dishwasher safe, but this was several years ago. If they were made available today, I'm sure they would be coated with RN or whatever today's steins are coated with.

You'll be pleased to know that the above style is now available again and in stock - just been too busy to get a photo taken and re-list it on our website.

Hmm that's a pity considering we have just bought 4 boxes of the others - oh well we will see how it goes and we will try these in the future too and give the customer a choice!

Yes, RN coated so totally dishwasher proof and come with our wash guarantee. And yes they print in a normal mug press.
