View Full Version : Ricoh GXe3300n Printer Problem resolved

Hi I'm new to the forum, so bear with me as this is post No.1

I'm also new to dye-sub, and passing here a problem resolution I struggled with.
I purchased a Ricoh GXe3300n Printer - worked fine, instructions followed etc.
After about a week it started to print with issues. Horizontal lines through the image, similar but finer than banding - and Horizontal not vertical (as would be viewed on a Mug when pressed.)

Long story short - the printer was not the problem. It works perfectly well.
The problem was the USB port on the laptop.
Swapped USB cable to port on opposite side of L/top - issues dissappeared. Swapped back - started to re-appear.
Same cable/file/printer/driver etc. Different port.

So not always a printer issue. Just thought I'ld share.
