I thought I would get my Europa Leisure HF2200 mug press up and running again. I spilt some ink on the time/temp control unit and it went bang. Cost of replacement time/temp control unit £145 surely it cant be that different to the one in the cheap replacement mug press that I bought for 2/3 of that price?

It's a shame because it's a really good mug press.

I used to think that about mine, I guess it may be on it's way out and now I only use it for testing. Even after replacing the heat blanket it presses no where near to top/ bottom or sides no matter if I put it in then turn it upside down, left a bit and right a bit I often end up with a useless mug unfortunately. That said it has produced a lot in of mugs.

I was wondering if it would be possible to fit a different electronic unit in, it only has to control time and temp.
