I have bought a new screen, but its a widescreen, and its driving me nuts, as anything circular in corel, is now oval, i have tried making the screen in corel narrower but its still distorted, any settings i can adjust to make it more "normal" when designing ??

its great watching movies and stuff now, but designing is a nightmare

Have you tried pressing the auto adjust button on your monitor?

auto adjust should do it. I have a 20 inch wide screen and everything displays correctly.

If you press one of the buttons and the screen goes black, that is the off button.

Ive got the same problem and cant figure it out either. In Paint the circles are round but in Corel they are oval.
Auto Adjust doesnt work either.
Id love to know how to fix it.

Might be stating the obvious but you have changed your resolution in Windows haven't you?

change the screen resolution in windows to 1400 x 900, or 1680 x 1050, or if they are not available go through all the resolutions until you find one that looks right, may take 10 mins or so...but will be worth it

Some of the older graphics cards, especially in XP dont support widescreen

neilb and DS designs - i love you both, it seems that the download, which should have re-set the resolution had not done so, i have set it on max which is 1600 x 900 and everything is lovely - thank you so much
