This is I'm sure a daft question .....

Im gonna get a few mug wraps as a back up to my mug press, can I use them in a normal oven?

As long as I set it to gas mark 6 400, degrees will that be ok? Or does it need to be a convection oven?

Regards

Griff

Not sure what the health and hygiene situation would be here, I've always though you need to keep things seperate. Also not sure about the time required.

Have you thought about getting a small JML type oven? £30 in Makro as an example :-)

Oooh not even considered a halogen, would that work the same?

Ive seen a few convection oven for 25-30 quid was just thinking about having an emergency box that I could get out if something broke lol I try to cover all Angles

Someone said that a oven heats from the back to front and a convection has a even heat throughout, dunno if that's true, I can only cook bacon lol

The JML oven is the type used by most people using mug wraps. I don't use mug wraps, but my chicken for dinner has just finished cooking in the JML.

I was contemplating my oven.. but worried about the health/safety issues of then cooking my kids meals in it.. so treated myself to a halogen oven from Amazon.. was about £38 all in and came with the extention ring and lid stand.. which is a handy little thing..
