View Full Version : Decent Black and White Image
I have discussed this previously on another forum but can't find the thread.
I have a D88 with cis using sawgrass inks, very happy with the colours although I can't get a nice blak n white image. I thought i could turn something off and it would do the job but it never seems to print just using the black ink.
Is it not possible to do this?

I think you'll find this to be a recurring problem Paul. I'm not sure, but I seem to recall a work-a-round was to NOT use the ICC profile - does that make sense?
John
I'm sure i've tried that but i'll have another go. Thanks stitch up
I just been printing some black & white photos on mugs today and found this same problem. But looks like when I use cheap sublimation paper there is not descent B&W. but when I printed picture on texprint mug looks lovely. http://illiweb.com/fa/i/smiles/icon_bounce.gif
I also use textprint.
Do you have a D88 Paul?

So di I, I tried to delete the post but as you'd replied it wouldn't allow me to!!
So how do you get the results that I can't, do you use the sawgrass profile?
