Been asked to do some white tshirts for a local project - but it's a multicolour illustration and they want a variety of tshirts sizes and "the lowest cost possible" (it's a charity so yeah I can understand this one).

Anyhow... it's been a while since I did transfer printing. It's fairly intricate but has lots of white space so I'd rather avoid having a huge block of polymer transfer left on the tshirt. Also due to the sizes of the tshirts which range from kids to XXL adult it'll probably be A3 size max. Can anyone recommend a decent transfer paper system and what would it entail?

Thanks in advance!

Possibly screen printed transfers? How many shirts will you be doing?

Probably 70-100 but it's the sheer variety of sizes - from kids at 3 all the way through to adult XXXL - so probably ten at most of any one size.

I'd g for 2 sizes of transfer or screen print, one that would suit all kids sizes and another for adults.

Its a full A3 size for xx & x large male sizes, half way between A3/A4 for medium & large male, A4 for small male and xl & large women, halfway between A4 & a5 for small women and large kids and a5 for kids and going all the way down to A6 for the kids, so thats ... 6 transfer sets or screen prints.

Ideally you want to get it down to 2 sizes, it may look a little small on some tee's but that's the best way to make it economic. Otherwise you'll have a fair bit on setup costs. The screen printer may top and tail designs on screens to reduce costs for you.
