I have an old Craft Robo 200-20 I use it now and again.
Today I was trying to cut an a4 size of easyMARK Glitter.
I have misplaced my cutting mat and normally just use masking tape to stick vinyl onto a plastic wallet.
Anyway, this trick did not work and the piece was ruined.
So I set about looking to replace the cutting mat and then also had a look around Google and I see some people make their own or buy cheaper "Cricut" (?) cutting mats.
before I go and buy a new cutting mat, does anyone have any tips for making a home made one please ?

I tried a cheap cutting mat from asda but that is just a little too thick by a whisper and forces the bar with the wheels up a bit.

I dont know if this works as I dont have the cutter ( just remember seeing this post about making the mats) http://www.quillingpatch.com/2008/11/01/make-your-own-mat-for-cricut-silhouette-and-other-die-cutting-machines/
just under the instructions some one has said they use flexible cutting mats from 99c store our poundland had some boards a week or so ago that I put back because it was too flexible for what I wanted may be worth looking if you have one.
