Anyone else having problems? Tried several times to reply to a member (JohnG - I haven't forgot about you :D ) but it keeps crashing. Used 2 different pc's and connections so guess it is not my side.

Not had any other reports and all appears ok here but I'll check everything out.

Thanks Justin. Strange as it still doesn't work for me although it did work for me this morning.

Are you getting any error messages? At what stage does it crash?

I'm having the same problems trying to reply to Paul. Type in the message and press submit then get an error 500 Internal Server Error... :(

That's the one Martin. Glad it's just not me, thought I had broken the site then

OK, looking into it now. Can you both check your inbox/outbox etc, just see if there's anything a-mis there, full box etc.

All of my inbox/outbox seems as normal and I also deleted some ofthe older stuff earlier when the problem first occured. Definately says a http server error as Martin mentioned. Way above my station for me to be of any help.

All okay from my side. Have just replied, sucessfully to your pm Justin. Still had probs replying to Paul yet a simple reply got through - no rhyme or reason. Will see if this continues and let you know (if i get some more pm's...)

When you reply, is it a simple text reply or are you using links etc? Are the messages short or very long?

Are you using smilies?

Message did have smilies, no links. Removed smilies, still same problem. Did go over a few lines though rather than very short message.

I can get a pm sent to you Justin just not to John G. I have cancelled the mail I sent to you from my outbox but it did go through the correct process. I have tried removing his name then retyping etc but always goes to server error.

Not the end of the world so no need to worry, just keeping you updated.

No worries, I'm still looking into it, thanks for the feedback guys.

Justin - I have found out the problem which you can see on a thread in the general section. Not sure if it is the same for Martin but it came down to the pound sign. Try posting with actually using the pound sign and see if it works as that what was stopping me. Very strange.

Andrew

I've got the same problem here, just tried to send you a test message with the pound sign on, and got the HTTP 500 error message :(

Perhaps there's a message here - the pound sign is going to be discontinued and replaced with the Euro :o (note: when I typed in the Euro symbol and submitted the message I got an 500 Internal Server Error) :(

David, if you remove the pound signs, you should be able to send the PM
