Sorry I know not Dye Sub related.
Anyone doing glass engraving? Bottles, glasses etc?
I'm looking into this area as I have possible ready market but the machine costs are beyond my budget to buy. Does anywhere Lease / Hire machines? Can't find on internet search and obviously need to research further.
Cheers for any advice in advance.

Cheapest way to get into engraving glassware is sand blasting

Set up in Australian Dollars about $3,000 plus computer and software etc.

Here's a forum where you will get top advice

http://cuttingedgesandcarving.com/forums/

otherwise it's a laser but they are very expensive

Set up in Australian dollars close to $20,000

but another good forum with sound advice for this is

You could try acid etching... You'd have to do a google search for it.

I use etchall etching creme you can reuse it I find very good on glass but not so good on mirrors as it gives a slightly uneven finish on mirrors blasting is much better on mirrors . you can find it on ebay.
ps note the spelling of etchall and creme is as it is on the container.
