Hi All,

I hope soon to have a website up and running to sell personalised mugs, T-shirts and iphone covers but I will be doing this from home. I just wondered on what insurance would I need? and whos the best company to go with?

Many thanks

I have public and product liability through Direct Line and I work from home too..

I do attend some local events but I would have it even if I didn't..

I pay around £55 a year and that includes £3k worth of stock covered.

My home insurance has a special section and that covers my business machines.

Thank you your reply,

That sounds good especially for £55 a year! Did you have to, have someone from the insurance company come round and check your office space?

No.. they just asked what was in the room.. if using a heat source etc..

Give them a call.. they were fantastic with what I asked for..

The only thing you will find is that they don't allow sales outside the EU - so if you're looking for that you may have to ask if they do something else to include that.

I am with Direct Line too, and am very happy! I guess if I would like to start shipping outside the EU I might have a look around for something else, but until then...
