I have read that Xpres sell rebadged adkins heat presses? Is this correct?

I've seen this combi press from Xpres and wonder if anyone has any experience of it?
http://www.xpres.co.uk/p-8245-studio-versa-press-38cm-x-30cm.aspx?p=55

And are Xpres good at offering aftersales support?

How does this kind of combi press compare to this one offered by BMS... http://www.printerowners.co.uk/hardware-equipment/513/df18-8-in-1-combination-heat-press.htm

Thanks in advance - I have read soooo much information these past few weeks that my head is spinning! But I'm finally starting to see the light!

Yes Xpres sell rebadged Adkins presses. I have been using a second hand one for the past 12 years and it's never missed a beat...worth their weight in gold

I have an Adkins mug press, and can't fault it at all! just so you are aware, the combi press you linked too doesn't come with any of the extra attachments as standard...they all cost extra.

100% xPress sell re-badged Adkins presses - I had a problem with my new Auto Clam from xPress and Adkins ended up sending me another, Adkins badged one.

Thanks everyone - that is really interesting and I think I may be sold on getting a heat press from Xpres if they are adkins presses as I've heard such great things about them.

@NikGrey - How did you find the Xpres customer service when you had a problem with your press? Obviously they replaced it but was it easy to get a replacement? Also are they "on hand" with any problems I may have setting up the heat press? (I'm new at this!!)

Thanks for that....I hadn't in fact realised, so really appreciate it! Think it's still a really good price though so definitely still considering it!

Hello all, just to clarify...

Xpres are an Adkins distributor as Adkins do not sell directly. Adkins brand all of our stock with the Xpres artwork. Should any problems arise with a purchase of an Adkins press from Xpres, our dedicated technical support team would be the first port of call and can resolve the vast majority of issues very quickly.

Hello SaraHD, we only sell Adkins presses at the moment, you get a years warranty with Adkins and aftercare from ourselves and Adkins based in the UK, pretty handy really.

If you want to come in and have a look just let me know and I can book you in for a demo on the presses, we had a training refresher session with them the other day so I can tell you all you need to know!

Also we do have a great set of deals running called Hot February, there are some good savings to be had :)
