Hi Nash,
I have a Robo and do shop/vehicle decals. There is a market for it as long as the price is right, sign shops offer fitting as well which some customers want, also the largest print you can cut is approx 7inch which is good enough for cars and most windows. Ps - Remember if its for the inside of a window to cut mirrored.
Good Luck

Depends on the size obviously. For 1mtr cut at 7in I charge £20 approx, depending if its going to be a repeat order.
my robo only cuts A4 so am i right i will be using 3 sheets of A4 and then the application tape
Hi Nash can you not alter the length of the sheet to cut much longer. It makes it a lot easier if you can rather than making jigsaws out of A4 lengths.

Hi Nash,
Output settings 210 x 1000mm will cut one strip, I think if you tick the TILE box in output settings you can keep going and do longer lengths, but havn't done it yet.
well i never knew that Thnks
i`ll try and experiment, you live and learn every day

Ray
just thought how would i cut 1 meter lengths.
would i not need 1 meter carrier sheets
You don't need carrier sheets for cutting flex, flock or vinyl as the blade just cuts through the top layer, not the backing to the material (so long as you don't have your pressure too high).
Thanks Martin
i`ve just done you`re right the trick is in the pressure
Save your carrier sheets for the odd bits or cut offs Nash I get loads of use out of mine.
i think this would be good business for our Essex boy racers and small businesses around town you are too frightened to go round to an official sign writer who would charge a small fortune.
How about this for a pricing structure
£8.99 for a 300mm lenght
17.99 for a 600mm length
26.99 for a 900mm lenght
what are your views
and another thing which is the best vinyl to use
i don`t want customers coming back saying the vinyl is peeling off!
and also we can use this method to make personalised albums and frames right?
