Hi all,
I'm just wondering how people organise their day to day - week to week tasks in general?

I have a little book that I constantly write things down in so I can refer back to it when required. After a little incident when the kids thought it may be 'funny' to draw in and hide 'daddys black book' I thought it may be best to try something else.

I was thinking an online organiser of some sort or program for the computer that I can copy and paste info into and organise events and to do lists etc.

I googled the question and came up with http://www.rememberthemilk.com.

Has anyone else used this or has any good advice on anything else to use please?

Many thanks

AB

lol, sorry - I didn't mean to offend anyone by the use of that 'dastardly' word.

I'm a list person, I make lots of list of must do chores etc then when the list is long enough I loose it and dont worry about it again  No seriously my life is mad so I can not live with out my filofax. :)

Looks like we all play by the same rules then ............ although I must say my 'filo-fist' comes in handy (i.e writing on my hand too much).

I don't have a filo-fist, though my work room looks as if I'm re-decorating with post it notes

I'm the most disorganised person around and can never plan anything. However, part of my work is consultancy work and I need to keep track of what work needs doing by what date and how long I've spent doing the job (and at what rate) so I can invoice for it later.

I use this - http://portableapps.com/apps/office/task_coach_portable

It's portable software so you can put it on a USB stick and run it from any Windows computer you happy to be sitting at. It's not only a to-do list and scheduler, but it also makes it easy for tracking how long a job takes (and works out the cost for you, too).

It's flexible but simple.

I use MindGenius for recording info - amazing peice of software www.mindgenius.com (http://www.mindgenius.com)

And for accounting, Kashflow www.kashflow.co.uk (http://www.kashflow.co.uk)

BTW, I have nothing to do with either.
