Question about printing mugs with green ink

Hi everyone! I'm new to the forum and to mug printing. I have figured out settings for most prints to look vibrant and consistent, with excellent consistency among colours and blacks. I use a PixMax press and Monster Shop PixMax mugs, heating at 360 degrees f for about 145 seconds (my press heats up to temp after putting the mug in before the timer starts). If I heat any longer or hotter than this then I find the areas of black and dark ink on the sub paper stick to the mug when I remove it.

However I have a design that is green on white, and if I use the same settings it comes out faded at the top and the bottom. For this design I have to heat at about 380 degrees f for 200 seconds to avoid fading, but the print is then a bit blurry. Could anyone shine light on why this is so different for the green design and whether I can somehow find settings that work for all designs?

For reference I am using an Epson ET 1810 with SubliNova Smart ink, and A-Sub 125 G paper

Are the mugs going into the press cold?
I would advise pre warming them to heat the bottom but it could also be the heating element there’s a few things to rule out first.

Is the press tight enough against the mug?
Have you got a different paper you could try?
