City Ink Express
Hi guys!
I'm currently using a Ricoh SG3110 with SubliJet-R inks and I am looking for a cheaper alternative.
Does anyone have any experience with inks and a CISS from City Ink Express?
I was thinking of investing in a new printer with CISS and City Ink seem like the best option.
Thanks in advance!

If we're talking sublimation, then the only sublimation ink that City Ink sell is InkTec Sublinova Smart, which is only licensed for use in wide format printers and only available in litre quantities, so, unless you are planning on purchasing a much large printer than your current Ricoh, then this may not be an option.

I've used their CIS in other situations and found them excellent. Same quality as Sawgrass supply for use on the older Epson printers.
You won't find an official alternative and we can't advise you on third party inks as this is against the Sawgrass patent.
Take it from many that have tried over the years, you're far better off sticking to your 3110.

Thanks for the help guys. I'm strongly considering getting the pigment ink setup from City Ink, but I've been trying to get in touch with them for the best part of a week now, and have had absolutely no luck via phone or email!
Are they a reputable outfit? Because right now they're starting to seem a bit iffy...

I've found them to be good CISS in the past. I used their waste tank kits in the past too.
