Double sided prints
Hi,
Has anyone got any tips for double sided printing please. I’ve tried printing one side at a time but the first side always ends up a bit blurred. I’ve also tried using spray adhesive and doing both at the same time but lining them up is a nightmare
Thank you in advance

Hi. Double-sided prints on what?

Sorry, forgot to say on metal and FRP

The only time I have done some double sided metal was for the bar blades you see knocking around.
All I remember was that one side was cooked for a wee bit too long and the other side was cooked for a wee bit too short. I seem to remember wasting about 30 off before deciding that is how it is.
You have to print both sides at the same time, but apart from that, I think it is a case of just getting it almost spot on a living with the result.
With regards to lining up, the best thing to do is have a template outline 1mm bigger all round than the product. place the base print on your platen and put the product on top using the template outline as your guide. If you make sure your top piece is exactly the same size as the bottom piece, and your image is placed in the exact same position then you are good to go.
It is one of those objects where lots of forward planning is required.
Good luck :-)
