Having a similar problem but my mugs seem ok so I did a test print on my pre-cut paper for mugs and my sg400 is not printing as it should!

Don't know where they are made but I pre-heat them! I've not long started pressing and just had a customer say it cracked tonight after about 100 cups of tea. So not happy at the moment but I know...

Got my first batch 9th Oct for testing got second batch 27th Oct. You can see the first batch are far more glossy looking.
I had a matte in the first batch and it was the best by a long way.
