There is usually 2 plugs 1 coloured and 1 clear remove the clear ones to let the air into the carts.

I have a wf2510 and found the carts do not reset so I bought a chip resetter and it know recognises them although I sometimes get a warning that it is not genuine ink so I just click carry on.
Yes I do occasionally but most people want it for nothing so I don't push it.
Your print wont look good on paper you need to press it onto something to see it properly.
