Hi there i have checked youtube videos and in the US there seems to be a couple of coating sprays that do a very good job and last alot of washes for sublimating on cotton, or even better results...
I guess just depends on what each person is ok with, I only do clothing for myself and 100% polyester is horrid, I bought a hoodie which was super soft inside but outside you can tell it's polyester...
Is triblend just a polycotton mix, I hardly ever sublimate onto them if so, it's rare I want a image that has a washed out faded look, even tried 80% polyester and it still was not good enough

Sounds like a couple of things....either the pressure is not correct, the clamp is not making the pressure equal on the mug and so the edges are not pressed as tight, or the heat is not being evenly...
