Thanks both for the help. I do have some metal signs somewhere so I'll use them to print on if I need to.
It's Inkexperts ink that I've just switched to but they don't support my printer. I have...
I understand the principle in that I print out some test charts, scan them with the ICC gadget/software, print out a 2nd set of test charts, scan them in again and bingo I've got my profile...
I've been testing with a different file which I've added below. I've also cleaned the capping station and print head but it's not made any difference,. Also I've found that if I print in b&w mode...
The picture is the paper before pressing. It prints the same yellow fringe on the right hand side of the graphic on sublimation and regular copier paper so I assume it's not the paper. It's far more...
Thanks for the help so far. I've cleaned the encoder strip (almost no dirt on the cloth) but it's still doing the same unfortunatly. I've printed out different colour squares. Hardly any yellow...
Hi. I'm using a Sawgrass SG400 to print a black image onto sublimation paper (same outcome on regular paper) and am getting a yellow fringe (see picture). I'm printing from Photoshop if that makes a...
I'd just like to post a big thank you to Olly for the machine. Apologies it's taken so long to reply but we've been busy and only got round to unboxing it and using it yesterday. All good.

"I've use silicone wraps, and the only one moment when actually all mugs are crisp is when I change silicone for a new ones, till few days after."
Could your silicone wraps either be stretching or...
I tried about 3 or 4 sets of inks and papers from different suppliers and was never 100% happy with my results. Perhaps it's my technique or setup causing my issues. I ended up making my own ICC...
I bought a Hotronix press as my first press. I think it's the only piece of equipment I haven't had to replace or upgrade.
Which wraps are you using? Could it be that they aren't tight enough or snagging on the top lip of the mug?
I haven't tried enamel mugs yet but I've got a sample from Listawood and am not sure how...
I've been cutting down an A4 piece of paper into two strips the correct size for my mugs and then running them through the printer. I find it easier than printing two images on an A4 sheet and...
Have you had any response from Coralgraph to your text or email?
Update. I've switched my ink and paper over to City Ink Express. Bingo! I've only done a couple of samples so far but everything is looking good. My blacks are really black and solid. No more fading...
Thanks very much for the help and advice. As I was planning on switching to CIE inks and paper anyway, I'll do that and report back. It'll be far easier printing directly from Photoshop with an ICC...
I'm printing on the bright white side of the paper (face down in the printer tray). Yes it does look smooth with no speckles on the paper. Thanks for the help so far.
I'm using the Virtuoso print manager and printing from the online Sawgrass Creative Studio program.
I also have City Ink express inks and papers which I plan to switch over to and use their ICC...
I'm new to sublimation so it's probably something I'm doing wrong but my images are mainly coming out speckled/faded. I'm using a Sawgrass SG400 with Sawgrass inks and papers, LW 11oz and Xpress 10oz...
If you Google "WiFi dongle" you'll see you can get an external dongle that plugs into a USB port on your PC. You can also get WiFi cards which do go inside.
