Hi, In my experience it's better than DTG, no need to pretreat for darks, you can decorate a lot more materials and if a print messes up, it's only the media thats no good and not the garment like...
I know the fella, and he is dodgy ;-)
Its Acrorip 9.0.3 I'm not sure if the UV version is the same as the DTG/DTF version.
There's no skill to powdering you're just applying adhesive powder to...
Hi Mate,
I'm good thanks and hope you are too, you can cure them in your mug oven, we do ours this way or use our screen print belt dryer, powder tray if you need one can be anything a tupperware...
I'm selling my hardly used L1800 DTF Printer, not long after buying and converting this I moved to a wide format DTF, so its been sat with extra dampers installed and filled with cleaning solution. ...
My experience is that ink opacity is really good, it almost impossible tell the difference between a DTF print and a plastisol transfer even white, we do both.
You have to cure before pressing...
I’ve been printing with DTF for 8 months now, I believe it is a game changer, a rotary press isn’t required transfers can be cured using a heat press, flash dryer, oven or tunnel dryer. Like DTG it...
It was HP Kippax - www.hgkippax.co.uk
Its less to do with age and more to do with being extremely hung over, following our night out in Birmingham... Mr Jager Bomb
I was stood next you when we looked at it a but I can't for the life of me recall the company, they also did some industrial machines for coating screens I believe too, just in case that helps jog...

Many thanks, I think I'll maybe look at the toners and work backwards, if that's unsuccessful I'll opt for another 511 from OKI, although its a quite a bit more than I paid for my last one :frown:
We tend to opt for laser printers for probably the same reasons as yourself, we don't have to worry about the ink drying up if they're not used for a while, toners last well and they are quick,...
I'm after another colour laser printer, I already have an OKI 511 and this is pretty good with the compatible toners being well priced, I was going to buy another one but unfortunately its now been...

After outsourcing our embroidery the time has come to bring it in-house, we've narrowed it down to 3 brands and are looking at a new 4 or 6 head, Happy, Tajima ( both around same price) or Barudan...

Applied correctly the vinyl should slightly show the weave of the fabric.
Thanks for the heads up Simon, we're still in warranty at the moment but definitely will take a look when this expires
DPD are the best we have used, we now use APC because they give us a 5pm collection time, touch wood we've had no major issues with them.
