I only ever do full top to bottom prints... unless it's mid summer the mug bases are too cold and don't sub..

even in a press I have to preheat especially on full prints
you need to preheat long enought that the thick base on the mug is heated through... at these temps it's too cold to sub so can't over...
I found mine needed a little more time than was suggested and reasonably firm pressure but I've done quite a few and they come out fine

My press has a preheat function
But before that press u used to put just the base in the press and full temp no image for about 30 seconds.. And let rest for another 30 if I could feel a little...
I've only had blurry when not enough pressure
Or I've left the paper on while the mug cools

Fading at the bottom can be lack of heat in that area don't forget that the base of the mugs absorb heat so will be colder.. I pre heat my mugs for a minute or 2 at about 120c to get some heat in.. ...
I use a bit of 1mm silicone sheet it helps with the uneven surface of the plate also gives slightly more even heat distribution
But I have to add about 90 seconds to the time

What do you think of this oven?
I got the free sub st3042 which is a POS and has failed after 3 weeks
So it’s a toss up between this and the blizzard
How did the diy wraps go?
Where did...
I’ve had a play and it’s very good
The only issue I have is I do full tip to bottom prints and even go a little closer to the handle
I can’t figure if there is a way to show that with this...
I got the st3042 from signzworld as I want todo top to bottom images and get slightly closer to the handles
When I followed the suggested times and temps the mugs came out so pale
After playing...
