Those fees are way too high!
I've just looked at my last year's monthly data (>finances >payment account, scroll to bottom >see all monthly statements) and apart from a few months where I was...
Yes, my last resort will be to use an old W7 laptop I've got with a dead screen and just hook it up to a monitor switching box. Seems a bit of a shame to have to go to such a Heath Robinson approach...
Yes webtrekker, I'm sure it won't be as straightforward as I hope it will be. But it'll have to be an improvement on my current set up - crawling under the desk to move all cables from new pc to old...
Thanks very much for your recommendations of Virtual Box - that was one of the options I was looking at so I will go ahead with that, nice to know from people who've actually used it.
webtrekker -...
Just wondering if anyone can recommend an intuitive, easy to use Virtual Machine for running Windows 7 Pro on a Windows 10 Pro PC?
The background is that I run a Ricoh 3300 printer (I know it's...
NOW SOLD
Having recently given up printing mugs due to getting fed up with the poor quality of blanks (as discussed by others on here) I have some silicon mug wraps for sale.
16 green wraps,...
I've also got the Coralgraph version of that press and it has been great. Well worth the money (I don't press that much but it has lasted probably 7 years or more so far and still works great.

Hi Liam,
I have just looked and I have four of these that I haven't used for a few years - in generally good condition but guessing the screws might need a bit of lubrication / brute force to get...
I can second Justin's suggestion - sumosupplies on ebay. Great tape, swift delivery, decent price. I use the 10mm, just find it easier to handle.
Glad breakdown wasn't too bad. Chairs look great. I may be in touch in the future about getting some cushions made (though to be honest they are low down on a very long list of things to do!)
Neil.
The chairs are beautiful and definitely statement pieces! All looks great - I think the cushions and lampshades look particularly good.
Hope you have a good last day and breakdown isn't too bad!
Looks fantastic - good to hear that you had a good show as well.
Neil.
No faffing around cutting to shape - I just cut the paper longer and break it over the handles so that it pretty much covers everything.
I used to have this problem - I think it's just rogue ink gas in the oven. Solved it by cutting the paper slightly longer and 'breaking' it over the handles as shown below so the full mug is covered....
I sell on there and it was going OK (not brilliant but ticked over) until August last year. They must have changed their algorithms or been testing something because for no reason sales fell off a...
Yes, I just bring it up to temp and then 20 minutes from then, no waiting for it to come back up to temp. But as I said it can vary a bit (probably due to dodgy thermostat). If you cut your paper the...
I have used a halogen oven for years - I found early on that I needed to use the extender ring to prevent scorching as it moves the intense heat further away from the mugs. I find 4 mugs take 20...
I've had my 3300 for over 5 years and just switch it on when needed - I don't print massively often either. Last week I had to do the (I think) first head clean in all that time on one of the heads...
I started to get a brownish residue around the handle (using a halogen oven with clamps) and put it down to the airborne ink gasses as it was more noticeable nearer the top of the mug. Problem solved...
I have my insurance through the artists network (https://www.a-n.co.uk/about/insurance) - you do have to qualify as an artist / maker though - there is a questionnaire I think before you can get the...
I would second the recommendation for theimagingcentre. I've tried a few different places and their quality is great, as are the prices and the flexibility to include so many designs in a single...
Wouldn't it be nice if Royal Mail actually planned ahead rather than just reacting to losing trade to other couriers (which was totally predictable). So this change will be 'till mid-Jan, then no...
Been watching this thread with interest (though come next April we will no doubt be looking again for a different size). I can recommend Zetland boxes (they are literally just around the corner from...
Not sure whether these are the sort of thing you're after?

No link to either company...
Just to add to the thread, I have the press that Justin linked to also (presses up to A4). I do coasters and metal with it and it has been absolutely perfect for my needs.
