To give an update on our printer.
I was buying from Colourbyte and needed to spend an extra 20 quid to get free delivery so I thought I'd try a roll of the S-Race Vivid 120.
It's the only paper...
An easy way to test if it's the paper or not is to put a little water on a microfiber towel and rub it over the areas with the marks. If they come off or lighten, it's the paper.
Some of the self...
My money would be on the paper being the issue.
What type/brand are you using?
I don't know if it's better for polyester than cotton but it seems to be far better on polyester compared to DTG.
There was a story here about the benefits of DTF compared to DTG:...
We're using Epson sublimation paper.
It's the speed, not the size. To print any kind of dark image onto a cushion limits us to 3 cushions an hour with their recommended settings. When we mentioned...
To give an update on our SCF 500.
We had an engineer out last week. His solution to resolve the pizza wheel problem was to increase the time between each pass and increase the drying time before...

They have swatches available.
Thank you, that could be a good back up.
It's this style that I'm looking for:

Does anybody know any suppliers that have them in stock?
Thanks.
Good luck trying to get it fixed. I'm going to get in contact with Xpres again this week and try and get something figured out.
I'll keep you informed and hopefully we can both get something...
The pizza wheel issue isn't unique to sublimation.
I've tried it, same issues with the trailing line. I've tried the lowest and highest settings. Tried printing and pausing the printer for 5mins...
We're using genuine Epson DS paper.
My main issue with trying to get this fixed is that this is so obviously a physical problem. The pizza wheel marks is a common Epson problem across a wide range...
We've had issues since last November. The pizza wheel marks through the prints and a trailing black line after any kind of dark print resulting in countless ruined t shirts, cushions and photo...
Does anybody know if this will take a 15oz mug?
If your computer is 64bit, you're not going to find a driver for the cx24. It needs to run on a 32bit system.
I think the transfer press are getting them back in stock on Thursday.
