Not sure - always used the natural ones (steel coloured) - they would look better in white and colours would stand out better, but with the abuse they take in a bar, I think the white coating would...
I started using these a while back but stopped due to quality issues - they look great printed, but really are pretty crap. The metal used isn't strong enough and after a few uses the metal opener...
As long as the total adds up to the 2nd class amount for a large letter (£1.53 up to 250g) they'll go 2nd class automatically.
I used to do this using several different stamps to make up the amount...
I've only offered single sided print on these and it's normally text only - if I was to print 2 sided, I'd print both sides in one go, maybe turning the blade halfway through it's time and adding...
I had some jigs laser cut and they worked OK - think it was 6 up on A4. They did warp but turn them round for the next press and it seemed to do the job. I also had to up the press time a little as...
I've changed to managed payments, I don't like it as much as paypal - but it will become necessary if you want to keep trading on EBAY.
I also changed from daily payments to weekly, as it was...
Maybe a computer or lead fault rather than all 3 printers
If this happened on both blankets, I'd guess it must've been operating in Fahrenreit.
180f converted to C would be 82c - which explains why you could handle the mug without getting burned fingers -...
Yes, there is no reason to do anything apart from put in press and press the timer which is set to 167 temp for 170 seconds - comes out perfect every time. Mugs and paper from Xpres, inks are genuine...
Thanks for that - Its an old Coralgraph press but it doesn't have a make/model badge. I've seen that on ebay but wanted a like for like one, so it would be compatible. I've contacted Coralgraph but...

Hi All,
Just wondering whether anyone had a spare temp controller kicking about, from an old heat press, that they could sell me - my heat press is on its last legs and I don't really want...
I'm using a Ricoh printer with Sublijet-R inks (sawgrass) - I'm printing onto Xpres XP4072A papers and only use Xpres XP5013 mugs which IMO, cannot be beat on quality.
Great that you're getting a...
I have a few of these presses - mine are set to 125 idle, 167 temp for 170 seconds with a light to medium pressure. I use one piece of tape that I thread through the handle, no need for any more as...
Could it be the product - wasn't a face mask by any chance was it? or something to do with wearing/not wearing masks - covid/virus etc.
For the Freesub ST210 press - I use: 167 temp, 170 seconds and 126 idle - mugs come out bang on every time. Not sure on your printer settings though. I'm using Sublijet-R inks but printing through...
I've had that with large files - if the problem occurs, I convert any text to curves and if there are any photos, reduce these in file size. Seems to work on a Ricoh!
Cheers John
It's working fine - just ease up on the pressure and the temp stays constant. Got 2 of them, love them, best press I've had.
Try easing the pressure on the blanket with the problem - I have 2 of these presses and it happens to both of them, if too much pressure is being used.
Could be that the blankets are failing!
I gave up on the metal mugs as just couldn't get consistant results - also, never heat up the press without a mug in as it damages the blanket.
The temp will drop when putting the mug in to be...
Looks like both magenta and yellow are blocked. Try a head clean
I don't have one of these ovens but I've heard you don't use the spacer.
I have 2 Freesubs and love them, but I have heard of some people having problems with the digital counter/temp readout.
Try a different mug supplier, I couldn't get paper to run straight on certain mugs, so much so that a logo on one side looked spot on but the other side was way off, proving the mugs must taper...
Thanks for the offer pisquee - I'd gave up on it and in frustration, tried a little persuasion with a hammer - funnily enough, its started to work again - lol. Just need it to last a few more months...
Just as the xmas rush starts, the heat press gives up the ghost.
Don't suppose anyone in the Newcastle area has a spare for sale, or a lend of one for a week or so.
Cheers John
