What he said ^^
very good site that I hadn't come across yet so thank you.
Saw this thread and was hoping that there would be some feedback so it's a shame that there hasn't been as it's something I would be very interested in. I have looked myself and have come across the...
Sounds like Paul is right. Flock is best peeled stone cold IMO. Best thing to do is to test this theory with a couple of small off cuts and press them on an old top. Good luck.
Pm sent mate
Hi All,
Just having a clearout in the shop and thought I would offer the items on here before chucking it on the 'Bay. Most of the Ebay stuff will be mainly clothing as that is my stock in trade...
I can also offer to do it with vinyl, should be able to turn it round pretty sharpshooter as just completed a couple of bigger jobs so got a few days spare. PM me if you still need this done Justin.
I also would love to know what the teppenyaki grill would bring to sublimation apart from tasty food :)
I'm actually kicking myself a little as it went for below what I was prepared to pay for it but the distance from myself was a little far and that was the overriding factor for me. Just got to keep...
Lol! No not at all jealous..
I agree, I think this will go for quite a lot! I like the look of the bag press Justin, what's the main difference form the normal A3? Is it the extra space under the lower platen?
I would say IMHO that you get the same out as you put in so make sure you read up as much as you can and once you have the equipment then start testing and remember that mistakes are not always bad...
Welcome! Good luck with the sublimation journey :)
I want a pressmech now lol.
Thanks for the heads up Janners, watching it now as in the market for a press.
Heres one I just found with a quick search of 'pressmech':

I'm getting more and...
If it is just garments then a clam press like the Hotronix should be enough but if you want to press other substrates like you mentioned then I would stongly suggest a swing press like the Geo or the...
Hi all,
Haven't had a chance to be on here much due to being pretty manic at the moment but just had a regular customer ask for a colour changing mug to be printed by the weekend. Would anyone be...
Thanks for all the replies and thanks logobear, will test the settings out :)
Justin, the cutter is fantastic! I couldn't have asked for a better upgrade. I started with the craft robo then...
WOW was notoriously hard to work with IMO but I have seen the new stuff and it looks very good, you do need a white toner printer though :( DTG might be the way to go for you then depending on...
Hi All,
Just got myself a brand new Graphtec vinyl cutter as last one I bought mysteriously died suddenly on me less than a year after buying brand new. I have been given cut settings for clothing...
DTG would work but also transfer paper depending on the budget/quality you are after. I personally think you would struggle with vinyl as like Jason said, that is 8 colours, not 4.
Impact for me too, unless they ask for something specifically.
Thanks for the info but realised should have made the request a little clearer, I don't need sublimation prints, I need either laser jet or inkjet prints.
Thanks anyway :)
Hi all,
Having a bit of a mare as my Oki has decided to break down mid job! I have a job for between 45 - 50 A4 white tees and require someone to print some A4 transfer papers for me. They don't...
Cheers Nik, i've sent him a PM.
PS loving the name purple one! I knew who you meant immediately lol.
