We use a polyester fabric (Endura) over the top, I think Xpres sell it. It helps to absorb moisture to prevent mottling but also fills in any dips or edge defects in the metal to give an even print.
Will do, cheers.
Just noticed the Sole Juice website is no longer selling blanks and their new site Sublimation Warehouse isn't live yet.
Does anyone know of any other suppliers, UK or Europe that sell Blank Phone...
We used Neil Brother recently for a smaller order for just over £300 and the shipping was £34.00 and arrived next day.
Yes, we've experienced this in the past. There is lots of fake Kaptan tape floating around on ebay. We only purchase from our mug supplier now. Heat tape should not transfer onto the mug.
We converted an Epson Surecolor T3200 and a T5200 for use with sublimation. They are our daily workhorses. I think both models have been superseded by the T3/5400 now.
That's a moisture issue. Make sure the print has fully dried and the metal is at room temperature before pressing. As stated above, place a sheet of paper or polyester on top of the sub-paper when...
We've used airfryers in the past before moving onto a larger oven. We managed 4 mugs at a time. Some airfryers work better than others in terms of circulating the air well enough to get an even temp...
Lots of fake kapton tape floating around on ebay at the moment. We ruined a batch of 16 mugs when we got caught out with it last year.
We use 'open cell silicone sheets' with small air pockets inside. It allows the heat to transfer through easily but still conforms to the shape of the substrate.
Use a polyester fabric rather than silicone between the heat press and the metal, the fabric will also absorb the moisture.
I've seen a similar pattern using silicone sheets with acrylic.
Switching the Photo Black and Grey channel to Light Cyan and Light Magenta would be perfect. I know you can do this with large format Pro series Epsons using a custom profile and RIP software, not...
I think this is the issue. Would profiling help limit the ink density or is it as simple as using the colour density slider within the Epson driver?
The colours when pressed are excellent but it it...
I have an Epson T5000 with inktec SubliNova Smart. Didn't consider Epson DS so I will look into this.
I've tested Texprint XPHR in the past with success so I may order a roll of this also. Neil...
I'm also on the look out for a cost effective sublimation roll paper. We have an excellent A4 paper from QP media which works really well on hard substrates but they do not offer a roll version. ...
Are you using a silicone sponge between the paper and the heat press?
It could be the texture of the press indenting on the acrylic when it softens.

Film is very susceptible to moisture. If we use film left out of its packet for a few weeks, we see results like those in your photo. We also use a small fan heater to dry the print as soon as it...
We have upgraded everything to 1st class now just to be safe but I would say there is a 1 week delay at the moment sending 2nd class Large Letter.
I think the Royal Mail backlog being in the news...
We are due a pallet from them today (ordered 27th Nov) so they have stock in now. There is probably a backlog of orders to process. It took us a few attempts to get in touch with them.
We use these for certain substrates. They are heat resistant.

Sorry for the delay. Payment made.
Thanks
I will take 10 please.
I'm assuming these are acrylic blocks?
If so, we use TexPrint XPHR paper which doesn't stick. This is the best method.
The other method is to place the blocks under a heat press using very light...
