    Siser or MDP Flex Vinyl

    Hi All

Any opinions on either of the above clothing vinyl?

Have read good reports on both just wondered if there are any benefits / pitfalls with either.

Another point was, is it better, more of an advantage for whatever reason to go for hot of cold peel.

    Thanks in advance

    Bob

Just to add to the mix.... TMT 123 Flex for me

I used to use Siser, but started getting problems with their print and cut materials so gave up. Others on here use them all the time without any issues so its a fair assumption that both the makes mentioned are very good.

With regards to your question about hot or cold peel, it depends on the instructions. Some need to be a hot peel others have to be cold.

I personally favour vinyl that is hot peel. This is because in a production environment with hundreds of garments it is better to press, peel and bag. Cold peel means you tend to have to press, wait, peel and bag. I have over simplified this but I hope you get the idea.

    The Magic Touch

You may also want to look at Target Transfers and Hexis for printable vinyl.

Spot on there. My personal favourite is TMT Soldark, especially the clear as the Siser stuff has a film that I am constantly forgetting to remove. However there are others on here that prefer Siser. Its really up to you to decide what performs best under your environment.

    Good luck :-)

MDP vinyl is also a great vinyl, hot peel as like socialgiraffe says you can bag your stuff as you go along instead of placing the clothing somewhere whilst waiting for it to cool.

I use MDP hot flex regularly never had any problems.
I've found target transfer glitter vinyl much better, it's more sparklier and cheaper than MDP glitter flex
I've also bought flex from ETCsupplies (glasgow based) but didn't like it.
