I'm note sure that such profiles are available for the SG2100. The only Sawgrass approved Ricoh printers are the current models of the SG3110 and SG7100 and these are available from www.sawgrassink.com As you'll see from that link the SG2100 isn't supported so you may have to go back to your supplier to find out how they support that printer.
you just need to get Paul from this forum to make you an ICC profile. it's neither hard or expensive to use his service, and will give you better results than a generic ink manufacturer supplied one anyway.
to answer your question, an ICC is a small code file, which your computer uses to work out how to best use your inks and printer to print colours correctly, or as good as achievable.
Hi Bms
Does this mean that there are no Ricoh/sawgrass cartridges for this printer? If so, does this in turn suggest that Katy's printer does not have sublimation ink in it, giving her the problems she's asking about in thread http://www.dyesubforum.co.uk/vbforum...-Help-required.

Ok so i bought printer to put words on for now i just want a print on the mugs at mo once i know i have that and work out why its not doing it i can look in to the profiles then yes?
The ICC profile will only adjust colours. It won't change the ink inside your printer. To print onto mugs you need sublimation ink and this printer, if bought for around £50-£75 will not have sublimation ink in it, but ordinary dye/ gel Ricoh inks. The sublimation inks are the expensive part costing (RRP) £210 for a full set for the Ricoh SG3110.
If you open your printer and remove a cartridge, does it say what ink is inside?
the ink i have bought was for refill cartridges which i have been assured are sublimation ink! I am doing a test on 100% polyester now to see if it prints then i can rule out mugs or ink
Katy, this might be a daft question, but what paper are you using in your printer?

And does this 'High quality sublimation paper' have a name or is it generic just like your location?
